Our Commitment to Care

At Care Endocrinology, we are committed to providing thoughtful, high-quality endocrine care with timely appointments and the time needed for careful evaluation and treatment. We believe specialist care should be personal, attentive, and never rushed. Every visit is conducted exclusively by Dr. Victoria Trendafilova, so patients can expect direct physician care and an individualized approach tailored to their needs. Our practice is now open full-time, with expanded availability for both new and returning patients. We encourage patients to schedule early to avoid delays.

Our Services

  • Comprehensive care for all forms of diabetes, from diagnosis to long-term management in patients 18 years and older. We offer continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) placement and interpretation, insulin and non-insulin medication plans, evaluation for insulin pumps and arrangements for insulin pump training, and proactive insulin dose-titration. We also screen for and help prevent complications (kidney, eye, nerve, and cardiovascular) and coordinate education, nutrition counseling, and pregnancy planning when needed. At this time, Dr. Trendafilova does not see pregnant patients with diabetes.

  • Medical weight management tailored to your metabolism and health goals. We evaluate for hormonal or medication-related contributors to weight gain, design evidence-based nutrition and activity plans, and, when appropriate, prescribe FDA-approved weight-loss medications and monitor progress. We also coordinate care with bariatric surgery programs when that’s the right fit.

  • Evaluation and treatment of hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), thyroid nodules, goiter, and low-risk thyroid cancer. We also coordinate radioactive iodine therapy and surgical referrals when indicated.

  • Whole-person care for PCOS focusing on symptom relief and long-term health. We confirm the diagnosis, assess fertility and metabolic risks, and tailor treatment for cycle regulation, acne/hirsutism, and insulin resistance. Plans also include lifestyle support, medications, and coordination with gynecology or fertility specialists.

  • Expert evaluation of hormone excess or deficiency (such as prolactinoma, Cushing’s disease, and acromegaly). We order hormone testing, coordinate pituitary MRI when needed, manage medical therapy, and partner closely with neurosurgery when needed. Ongoing monitoring that helps protect vision, bone, and metabolic health.

  • Workup and management of adrenal nodules (“incidentalomas”), Cushing’s syndrome, primary aldosteronism, Addison’s disease, and pheochromocytoma. We use appropriate screening, guide imaging, and create treatment plans that may include medication, surgical referral, and education on steroid safety and stress-dosing.

  • Evaluation and treatment of high or low calcium related to parathyroid hormone (PTH) imbalance, including primary hyperparathyroidism. We assess bone density, kidney stone risk, vitamin D status, and tailor medical therapy. When surgery is indicated, we coordinate expert surgical care.

  • Prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and osteopenia to reduce fracture risk. We order DXA scans, investigate for medical conditions that can cause bone loss, and provide personalized therapy alongside calcium/vitamin D guidance and fall-risk reduction. We track response and adjust care to keep bones strong.

  • (Managed per Endocrine Society recommendations)
Thoughtful, guideline-based care that starts with confirming low testosterone on appropriate morning labs, and assessing causes. If treatment is indicated, we discuss options, benefits, and risks; monitor labs while on therapy, and prioritize fertility considerations and safety at every step.
