Yes. Patients may schedule follow-up appointments via telehealth, if they are physically located in the state of Illinois at the time of the appointment. The doctor requests initial consultations to take place in person.

Dr. Trendafilova has “opted out” of Medicare for her services. Some supplemental insurance carriers may provide some reimbursement for patients seen by a non-Medicare physician. You can still use your insurance as you normally would, to pay for labs, medications, imaging and referrals that she orders.

Dr. Trendafilova is considered out-of-network with insurance carriers. After your visit, the doctor will provide you with a “superbill” which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance carrier regarding your out-of-network benefits.
